Westpfahl and have been teaching in St. Paul Public Schools for 8 years.
My classroom, which is devoted to learning about and understanding multiple perspectives, is designed to promote critical thinking skills in a very hands on, interactive and engaging way. I want to provide my students with the a comfortable learning environment. My largest class has 37 students, and I only have standard desks for 36 students! With that in mind, I would like to transform my classroom space into an area that is more like a "Learning Lounge". This lounge space, would provide for alternate style seating to accommodate students diverse needs. From standard desks, to stand up work stations and lounge seating, I want to provide my students with a comfortable learning experience that is more conducive to the 21st century. Thank you very much for your consideration in partnering with me as we help to educate our children!
